Ladies New Beginnings Bible Study Group
On the third Tuesday of each month, at 12:00 Noon, you will find a couple dozen ladies who have gathered in the Church Fellowship Hall to share in a meaningful time of encouragement and connection over lunch and Bible Study.
The group’s current study focuses on the Book of Philippians, using “Jesus Our Joy - LifeGuide Bible Studies, for reflection, discussion, and the application of God’s Word in everyday life.
The ladies serve the church through special service projects, such as the creation of new Chrismons for the church’s sanctuary Chrismon Tree, which contributed beauty and symbolism to the Christmas Season of 2025.
The group also reaches into the community by welcoming guest speakers from local organizations such as the Coastal Pregnancy Care Center, the Carteret County Domestic Violence Center and others, to help raise awareness and extend Christ’s love through compassion and outreach. Blankets and women’s & children’s winter accessories are collected for CCDVP at Christmastime.
You do not have to attend Franklin Memorial to participate. Friends and newcomers are always warmly welcomed. Whether you are seeking Bible Study, fellowship or a place to belong, you will find a diverse group of women, who gather in joyful faith with the New Beginnings Bible Group.

The New Beginnings Bible Group had a wonderful gathering today! After lunch, everyone shared in a time of prayer for our deployed military. The group enjoyed assembling 100 patriotic cards for our active servicemen. All Praise be to God for the lives being touched through Franklin Memorial!
