Packing Day - held on Saturday, July 25th - was an awesome day of service at Franklin Memorial! 27 people came and packaged 500 snack bags for our deployed military…. in just 1 1/4hours! Amazing!!! These snack bags will be taken to Support Our Troops-NC Ayden for distribution overseas. Praise God for the support from American Legion Post #46-Morehead City and the many hands and hearts that worked until completion, and for the donations of candy to fill these bags. Check out all the pictures on our Facebook page!

Community Outreach
Hands and Feet
The Hands and Feet Outreach Ministry is a portion of the Mission Committee devoted to reaching out to community members -and beyond- with simple acts of kindness. Residents in local nursing and assisted living homes, senior living environments, Meals on Wheels programs, children in local school programs, local police, fire and EMT’s, veterans, and deployed military are some of the many areas Franklin looks to touch with thoughtful cards, sweet treats, and more. They meet the fourth Tuesday monthly at 1:00 p.m.
